Les Bateliers A droite sur la photo: Edmond Lioret, ancien Batelier. (ici 1976 avec mes parents.) De l'age de 8 à 16 ans il avait été loué par son père comme batelier. Il travaillait comme haleur encourageant les animaux qui tiraient les péniches. Les journées étaient longues, du lever au coucher du soleil; et la nuit il dormait sur sur le pont de la péniche.
