Its young, bright garnet color is just beginning to show the age of the wine. The nose is more representative of a great mature wine with a superb complexity made of fresh and varietal notes (black fruits, sweet spices, pepper), a very noble heart of the nose (fresh wood, moss, beeswax, chimney soot) nicely accompanied by gourmet aromas (vanilla, candied cherry) to finish on a magnificent and noble bouquet of a remarkable freshness signature of Clos de Caveau (camphor, eucalyptus, menthol, turpentine); the palate is characteristic of the vintage with a beautiful enveloping warmth, a magnificent silkiness almost masking a very beautiful structure of very fine tannins; a great gourmet nobility.
