Clos de Caveau featured in Matt Walls' Vacqueyras 2022 review for Decanter : '25 top wines for southern Rhône lovers'

Matt Walls, Decanter's Rhône correspondent, has selected Clos de Caveau for his article '25 top wines for southern Rhône lovers', published in June 2026.

As well as citing Lewis Bungener's observations on the 2022 vintage in general, Matt Walls retasted the Clos' offering for that vintage, awarding Lao Muse 94 points and Carmin Brillant 91 points.

'An enjoyably structured and tannic style of Vacqueyras, it's brooding and powerful but has good acidity. There's a lot in this wine, concentrated dark, ripe fruit; tannins; zingy acidity. All leads to a long finish. Very good for the vintage.' (Lao Muse 2022, 94 points)
