Lao Muse 2020 : 91-93 – Jeb Dunnuck

«The 2020 Vacqueyras Lao Muse is the same 60/40 split of Grenache and Syrah, but this cuvee is aged in once-used barrels. It has plenty of darker fruits as well as obvious spicy wood nuances on the nose. This carries to medium-bodied Vacqueyras with ripe tannins and remarkable purity. Give bottles 2-3 years to integrate its oak (which is very prevalent today), and it will drink nicely through 2032. 91-93/100. »
