Harmonious aromas of berry fruits with a spicy cinnamon sheen. Christmas spicing.

Champvermeil 2022 : 93/100 – Decanter
Deeper in fruit than most 2022s, this has a more satisfying level of ripeness of both fruit and tannin.

The 2021 Gigondas Champvermeil is impressive, with plenty of darker berry fruits, pepper, and garrigue.

Ripe red and black berries, peppery herbs, violets, and a touch of minerality define the aromatics, and it’s a nicely balanced.

Champvermeil 2019 : 90-92 – Jeb Dunnuck
Medium to full-bodied on the palate, nicely textured, and balanced, it’s another impeccable looking barrel sample.

Champvermeil 2024 : 94/100 – Decanter
Ripe, soft, juicy and approachable. Really fruity and attractive, with fine tannins and plenty of them. A mineral style with great clarity and transparency. Will age well and drink well young. Sandy, silty soils over clay-limestone; natural yeast, no new oak.

Champvermeil 2024 : 16.5/20 – Jancis Robinson
Some ripeness of fruit, red and dark fruits. The palate is layered with a chalky feel throughout. Very appealing and while being ripe and rich has a certain delicacy as well.
